| Manhattan Cabinetry is a family business. It began life in 1976 as a tiny unfinished furniture shop in Manhattan with only three employees. They were two cabinet makers and one sales person, but when they got an order they built the furniture themselves in the back of the shop. Since then the company has grown. Today its main showroom is located in Manhattan's design district and a 42,000 square foot factory in Long Island City, NY, with 50 employees. Our focus has always been on quality and service. Even in the beginning we always tried to make a better unfinished bookcase or TV stand than our competitors, and we still do.
Today we offer full service custom building of just about any type of furniture. We offer everything from simple platform beds and bookcases to highly detailed entertainment units and home offices, in an almost unlimited selection of custom finishes. If you can imagine it, we can build it®. We are committed to excellence in design, craftsmanship, and customer service. We continually refine our use of materials and manufacturing processes to meet or exceed our customer's expectations. All our work is performed by Manhattan Cabinetry employees in our own factory.
